Benjamin David Landry

Benjamin David Landry is an Acting Assistant Professor of Lawyering. Landry’s research focuses on contracts, copyright, and the music business. Prior to joining NYU, he spent a decade in-house at Atlantic Records as a senior member of the Business & Legal Affairs team and, before that, several years at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP. Landry received his BA magna cum laude from Albion College in 2009 and a JD with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 2012 where he was a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar and an Executive Editor of the Chicago Journal of International Law. He is admitted to practice in New York.
