How are Knowledge, Information, and Other Shared Intellectual Resources Governed?

This interdisciplinary conference, co-sponsored with the International Association for the Study of the Commons, convened an international group of researchers studying cooperative arrangements for sharing intellectual resources, or “knowledge commons.” Focusing on the fields of medicine and the environment, presenters considered how knowledge commons work, what contributes to their durability and effectiveness, and what undermines them. Professor Katherine J. Strandburg was co-chair of the conference.
