Book Talk: Governing Medical Knowledge Commons
The Engelberg Center celebrated the launch of Governing Medical Knowledge Commons, a book edited by Katherine J. Strandburg, Brett Frischmann, and Michael Madison (Cambridge University Press). Michael Burstein ’04, Professor of Law at Cardozo Law, provided commentary. Building on the editors’ prior work, Governing Medical Knowledge Commons provides 15 new case studies of knowledge commons in which researchers, medical professionals, and patients generate, improve, and share innovations, offering readers a practical introduction to the knowledge commons framework and a synthesis of conclusions and lessons.
